NOTE TO ALL VISITORS: This site was created for the sole purpose of sharing my photos for a photography class. However, as I am beginning to receive more viewers, and am planning on delving deeper into photography, I am going to be creating a new site for my photos. This new site will be revamped and include more of my newer photographs, as well as some of my favorite older ones. I will keep you updated as this development progresses. Thank you all for coming to my site!

BIOGRAPHY
My name is Terrik Allman. You may have missed this fact, due to it being one of the most prominent things on the entire website. No worries, that was just an attempt at a joke.
I am currently a 15-year-old boy who lives in Oregon. Some of my passions are trying to help out where I can, and trying to make everyone happy. I have many hobbies, with the newest addition being photography. The reason that I enjoy photography is because it allows me to reveal my creative side. I'm never the one who likes to really be out there. So, with my camera, I am beginning to break out of my comfort zone and explore the world around me in more detail. Some of my other hobbies are stargazing and learning. I love astronomy. All the stars, planets, and nebulae are exciting to observe, and even more exciting to study. And is there such a thing as too much knowledge? Fun fact: I have a hard time not smiling, as evidenced below. |

ARTIST'S STATEMENT
Why do I take photos? I want my images to convey a feeling of calmness and control. If there's too many things in the shot, then I might attempt to remove the items, or relocate. All of these extras things remove the feeling of control, and replace it with a feeling of chaos.
"When you raise the camera, you have two choices. You can either capture the moment...or create a piece of art."-Terrik Allman
